Editing Services:
Price: $.03 per word for the first round.
Additional Rounds: Each subsequent round is 25% of the initial editing price.
Example: For a 10,000-word document:
First round (10,000 words × $.03/word) = $300
Additional rounds (25% of $300) = $75 per round
Proofreading Services:
Price: $.02 per word.
Additional Rounds: Each subsequent round is 25% of the initial proofreading price.
Example: For a 10,000-word document:
First round (10,000 words × $.02/word) = $200
Additional rounds (25% of $200) = $50
After Editing: If proofreading is requested after editing as a final review, it’s 25% of the original editing price (not $.02 per word).
Developmental Consultations:
Price: $50/hour
Note: All editing services are included, regardless of the type—whether it’s one or multiple types—of editing requested. However, please note that proofreading and developmental consultations are separate services from editing.
Payment Terms:
Booking/Contract Agreement: 50% of the total fee is due at the time of booking. (100% of Developmental Consultation fees are due at the time of booking).
Completion: The remaining balance is due upon completion of the editing services.
Additional Round Payment: For each additional round of editing, the same payment structure applies.

Editing Process: From Start to Finish
Initial Contact and Information Gathering:
When you reach out to me, we’ll discuss your writing project and your specific editing needs. I’ll collect details about the document, such as its purpose, audience, and any specific requirements.
Contract Signing:
Once we’ve clarified the scope of work, we’ll sign a contract. This formal agreement ensures transparency and sets expectations for both parties.
Payment Terms:
At this stage, 50% of the total first round fee is due. You can make the payment securely, and we’ll move forward with the editing process.
Estimated Timeframe:
I’ll provide an estimated turnaround time based on the length and depth of your project, as well as your preferred timeframe. My goal is to accommodate your needs while maintaining quality.
Editing in Microsoft Word with Track Changes:
I’ll meticulously edit your document using Microsoft Word’s track changes feature. This allows you to see every modification, comment, or suggestion I make.
Timely Delivery:
Within the agreed-upon timeframe, I’ll return the edited document to you. If any adjustments are needed, we’ll discuss them promptly.
Open Communication:

Second Round (If Requested):
If you require further revisions, each additional round of editing will be priced at 25% of the initial editing fee.
